Bush had some kind of nerve today. He toddled over to Arlington and said

the foundation of peace for a generation of young Americans."
The legacy of hate and disgust for America will last more than a
generation. It was none to good before Iraq but now polls in many
foreign countries, both western and third world show dislike and
distrust of Americans by the majority of peoples.
How disingenuous can this *** be? I would agree, there was a mission in
Afghanistan, but this farce he has going in Iraq is exactly that, a farce.
What mission in Iraq? There is no "mission."
Iraq was in the lead in getting oil off the $US (oil bourse). As long
as these dollars float around the world and never actually come back
to the US, it is the same as "floating" a cheque. There are trillions
worth of this paper floating from country to country. Iran has stated
that it will do the same so you can see why the Bush junta is beating
the drums for war. Russia is looking to do the same on the stock
market and Asian oil.
America has already sold more than 50% of her assets to foreign firms.
The country is in hock up to it's eyeballs. The main investments in
the US is now in money making money. That's why you see mortgages
offered to people who wouldn't normally qualify. Eventually it catches
up to them and they are forced into foreclosure.
Some very rough times ahead for America. Been living high on the hog
on the backs of third world workers and nations for too long now.
What Bush has in Iraq is the
aftermath of a failed policy that has killed nearly twenty-five hundred U.S.
soldiers, and easily murdered 30,000 Iraqis, in addition to countless
wounded on both sides. It is a senseless war. It is a needless war. It
always has been. There was no reason to attack Iraq. Hussein was not a
threat. America had nothing to fear. Errantly, Bush swore Hussein was fixing
to attack with weapons of mass destruction. There were no such weapons, nor
could Hussein deliver them. Bush said there was an al Qaeda connection.
There was no al Qaeda connection. *** Cheney said we would be welcomed as
liberators. Not so, to date 2,465 U.S. dead prove that to be wrong. Donald
Rumsfeld said the war would be less than 5 months, it has now been three
years plus. For the entire war, every step, every promise, every policy has
been false, disingenuous, or flat wrong.
There were voices telling the truth but it seems American media
preferred to beat the drums for war and pandered to the Whitehouse's
every whim and lie.
We have been lied to. We have been made fools of. What is worse, General
Casey and the rest of the brass in the Pentagon are cowards. They don't have
the balls to stand up to Rumsfeld and Bush and tell them they are wrong,
flat wrong. The guys are dying for nothing in Iraq. One of these days
someone will finally realize that and stop this murderous charade.
Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and the rest of the junta should be
required to send their own children to fight in Iraq or any other
place they start a war for America's "freedom".
