On Wednesday, March 6th, Ha'aretz, the prominent Israeli newspaper,
reported that "15 people" were killed the previous afternoon in
a "suicide" bus bombing in Haifa. The names of the killed and wounded
were not disclosed for more than 24 hours, but personal details about
the bomber were released immediately. According to Ha'aretz he
was "Mahmoud Amadan Salim Kawasme, 20, a computer student from Hebron
Polytechnic Institute. A letter was found on his body that included
quotations from the Koran. Kawasme is the 20th student from this
college to carry out attacks against Israeli targets since the
beginning of the Intifada."(2)

Most readers worldwide were told only a half-truth, that the bomber
was a 20 year-old Arab Muslim who deliberately murders innocent
civilians. George W. Bush poured glue on the lie by condemning the
act as "terrorism against the innocent." We want to assume our
President tells the whole truth, but he did not.

THE TRUTH COMES OUT OVERNIGHT:

The MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS standard practice is to wait for the
glue holding the lie together to set before bleeding out the names
and ranks of those killed, that way most people never know if
military are among those killed.

It was later announce that at least two of those killed were IDF
(Israeli Army) active duty personnel. Another may have been in the
military or the reserves. Unfortunately there were civilian
casualties, but the bombing must be viewed as aimed at Army
personnel. Why? Because it must be assumed that the soldiers hit
were the targets picked. This is the nature of war. Those near
soldiers are at risk.

In the first 65 days of 2003, Israel's military has killed no less
then 150 Palestinians, almost every one a civilians, and most were
killed inside their own homes. About half of those killed were
children.

In the entire history of the 12-year Intifada, approximately 66
Israelis children (under military age) have been killed by all
Palestinian attacks, including this Haifa bus #37 in which eight
teenagers were killed. This figure is compiled by examining public
records provided by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Israel's military has killed more Palestinian children in just the
last TWO MONTHS than the Palestinian have killed in 10 years! Who
then are the child killers?

Five of the eight teenagers killed in the explosion were within one
year of military age, which is 18 in Israel, and most were only three
or four years younger than the bomber. These students eventually
must all serve in the Israeli army.

One can only wonder how many of those 50 who were reported wounded
may also be active duty military, or are in the huge reserve forces.
The Palestinian attack on Haifa bus #37 was no more or less than a
search and destroy mission carried out by a volunteer militia against
and illegally oppressor. In some bus bombings 75% or more of those
killed were military. Yes, there was significant "collateral
damage." But our leaders make no apology for the civilian deaths will
that will come in Iraq.

The loss of any life is always tragic. Israelis are human, and so
are the Palestinians. WHTT is a pro-life organization. We also
grieve for the family of the 20 year old who blew himself up in this
mission against those military persons whom he considered his
oppressors.

By now the Israeli Defense Force will probably have found Mohamoud's
family and destroyed their home, and perhaps their neighbors' homes,
perhaps killing many more. Within 24 hour of this Mohamoud's mission
the IDF had killed 10 Gaza residents and wounded more than a hundred,
many of who will probably not survive, in an Apache Helicopter rocket
attack into upon a street crowd of civilians in Gaza. Mahmoud was
not from Gaza.

Where do you place the blame for this violence? When our president
labeled Mahmoud a terrorist he placed a target on the student's
family, and on anyone upon whom the Israelis chose to take
retribution. A little lie brings big death; why can't our leader
tell the truth about the little details?

Haaretz reported the following military persons killed on the bus #37

"Barry Oved, 21, from Rosh Pina .... Barry was to have been RELEASED
FROM THE ARMY IN ABOUT FIVE MONTHS.... He will be laid to rest at 4
P.M. on Thursday at the MILITARY SECTION of the Rosh Pina cemetery."
(Note the admission of his military service, but his rank is not
given. If one did not read carefully he could be taken for a
civilian.)

"Mitel Katav, 20, from Haifa... WAS RELEASED FROM MILITARY SERVICE
just over a month ago... Her uncle, Karmi Katav, said 'she was a
sweet and smiling child".... He added that Mitel's father had five
children and would get up at 5:30 A.M. TO TAKE HER TO THE BUS STATION
ON HER WAY TO THE ARMY BASE."

"Staff Sergeant Eliahu Lacham, 22, from Haifa"
"ELIAHU LACHAM WILL BE LAID TO REST AT 9 P.M. ON THURSDAY AT MILITARY
CEMETERY IN HAIFA."

[The release does not disclose the names of wounded, nor if Mitel or
others on the bus are in the active military reserve, as are most
Israelis over 21 years old, but it does reveal that the military
travel on public buses in Israel. Editor observed this to be fact on
every bus he saw or rode. There can be doubt that public buses in
Israel are military targets. Mitel was female soldier, a facts is
rarely admitted to Americans when Israelis are killed.]
