Bull. The responsibility goes two ways. In point of fact,
it is the Palestinian militants who are violating the rules
by not evacuating civilians before fighting, not wearing
identifiying brassards or uniforms, and not openly carrying
weapons. They are the ones violating the rules.

Of course this distinction is lost on the soft-headed liberals
and idiots who champion the the Arabs cause. (The Arabs simply
don't have enough respect for the truth to care.)

It wasn't a hopeless battle, first of all. And they didn't operate like
the "Palestinians" do, either. They dealt in information and worked with
outsiders to coordinate. They almost never attacked people, and they
certainly didn't attack the families of the Germans.
