Actually, driving slower doesn't save gas. Driving at the 'best burn' point
saves gas, and that varies from engine to engine. Best Burn is the point where
the engine makes the most horsepower for the fuel used. This is the point of
highest effeciency. There are dozens of variables that affect best burn, and
not all of them are under the control of designers and engineers. To think
that Congrease has control over these variables is like King Kanute thinking
that he could order the tide to not come in.
