Why do you liberal parasites think I should pay your bills?
What entitles you to the "Free Lunch"?
Pay your own way or starve.
You parasites will get nothing from me.

There is a point to explicit welfare, as welfare and not
as entitlements. My family was on welfare during the
Depression, and what I have said about clinics, doctors,
and hospitals at the time is from personal experience.

One thing which I did not know at the time was that
my family's lack of income was a factor in me getting
a scholarship. Scholarships should be given on ability,
not income, so the universities can maintain standards.
They need to be completely revived now, with the
students properly taking courses for which they are
suited, if such exist, not the universities providing
warm fuzzies for warm bodies without brains and giving
them degrees.

I've admired your posts regarding medical disorders but you seem to have
some strange ideas about what is "welfare". Do you think that wealthy
students should be given scholarships rather than those unable to afford
an
education?
Andie

Should scholarships be welfare? Or should they reward
academic ability?

It is easier for a poor C student to get into a good
college than a very bright middle class student. We
have enough federal and state income taxes; why should
colleges add to them, and in a way that they are not
deductible?

Treat every welfare eligibility rule as an income tax,
and consider its effect, including on those who get
the largesse. It may well discourage their making
an effort to get off welfare.

Universal heath care would met all your usual objections. After all, you
work for the taxpayers and not at a private college or university.
