This is really just a simple question designed to [hopefully] stimulate
some
thoughtful insights. I think theUS healthcare system has many positives,
but obviously it also has many negatives. To those of you interested,
what
would be the major changes you'd like to see, and in what priority? I'll
go
ahead and start with a few of my own, my top 3 for now. I suspect many
poeple's #1 will revolve around access to care in some form. Mine will
not.

#1 - Tort reform. This a euphasim for "kill all the trial lawyers". Ok,
maybe a tad harsh - but the bottom line here is that extravagant lawsuits
are having, have been having, and will continue to have far reaching
repercussions.

This has been proven a lie so many times that it is silly to see it posted
time and time again. The medical-industrial complex is simply paranoid
about insurance costs which are no higher than for any other industry.
