Well, we've now determined that you're just another wannabe
authoritarian thug.
Was it thinking that capitalism is corrupt, or thinking that forced
redistribution of wealth is bad, that makes Liam a thug in your
view?
You misread his statement:
"I also do not like the idea of forced redistribution of wealth--too
much."
Apparently, he's quite happy to live with some forced redistribution;
are you?
What difference does my happiness, or lack of it, make?
Well, if I can speak for him, I think he's trying to say I'd be happy
with armed thugs stealing from the rich and redistributing the money--
and he's asking if you (or anyone) would be happy with that.
He's of course misrepresenting my stance, a little. I'm saying if we
want any kind of change away from govt. control (whether that's market
anarchism or true communism or whatever) the wealth that the corporate
elite "owns" would HAVE to be redistributed before the chosen economic
system could start running on its own. If it doesn't, then you still
have 99% of the wealth controlled by 1% who, even though
"corporations" wouldn't technically exist any longer from a legal
sense, they'd still have the wealth and the ability to buy force to do
what the want to dominate the people--preventing the pursuit of life,
liberty, and happiness to the bottom 99% of the population.
Personally, if forced redistribution had to happen, it would be from
the people who illegitimately had wealth distributed to them in the
1st place under the government coercion.
