Matt also said there were no are no crappy fish food chains called
"Long John Silvers" in Colorado!

No, spammy. I said they had gone out of business.  They did, going
bankrupt in 1998.

There are, however, fast food fish chains going under the name "Long John
Silver's", about 1200 of them, including 10 in the Denver area, according
to the Long John Silvers website.

Yep,

Since then, they've been owned by YUM, which owns things like Taco
Bell and such, and combines the stores to sell various foods.

First you tell they have gone out of business, then you turn around and tell
us they are owned by YUM.

So which is it?

Are they out of business or in business and owned by YUM?

Can't have it both ways there cupcake.

Seems to me that according to the LJS website they never went out of
business at all. True, Yum bought up them up in 2002. However that hardly
equates to "out of business" much less claiming that there are none in
Colorado.

LJS went bankrupt in 1998. Fleet Boston Bank gained control of the
franchise at that point. Later, Yorkshire Global Restaurants acquired
the chain, and finally Yum! Brands Inc. took over.

Yum! Brands, Inc., based in Louisville, Ky., is the world's largest
restaurant company in terms of system restaurants with more than 37,000
restaurants in over 110 countries and territories and more than 1 million
associates. Yum! is ranked #216 on the Fortune 500 List, with nearly $11
billion in revenue in 2009. Four of our restaurant brands - KFC, Pizza
Hut, Taco Bell and Long John Silver's - are the global leaders of the
chicken, pizza, Mexican-style food and quick-service seafood categories..
