SCOTUS has already ruled on the meaning of "the People".
And it's not in favor of the "collective" nonsense.

Actually, Rehnquist ruled that "the people" is always used in the
collective context.

Which is wrong. You have to know the real-life context of the terms
used.

I count 49 instances of the term "person" or "persons" in the
Constitution, but just 9 instances of "people".

And "people" never appears with the definite article. The framers
wrote "The People" and they meant "The People." And "The People"
ratified the the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, even though just
a few people actually voted on it.

I know you people will never figure that out, eh Mr. Yankit?
