Merkins self culling.

Right. Just like Vermont and Alaska, who have the same
non-requirements. Obviously there is massive crime in both states,
right? (Total murders in Vermont last year - one.)

Actually, there were four murders in Vermont last year. Just to keep
the facts straight.

I don't have numbers for Alaska in 2009, but in 2008, there were 28
murders.

Matt

How many committed with guns?

The original statement was that there was one murder in Vermont. This
is incorrect. If you want to know the number committed with guns, look
it up.

In 2007, it was a total of 43 homicides (21 by firearm) in Alaska and 12
homicides (9 by firearm) in Vermont.  If you wish I can break that down
by rifle, shotgun, handgun or unknown. ;)

I had the numbers for 2007, but the original statement was for last
year.
If you look back, there was no comment made that it was by gun, knife,
tire iron, or wombat. It simply stated a 'fact' that was wrong.

Now, why people cannot simply say "oh, I meant by gun", I have no
idea.
I do notice a large degree of projection.
