Come on. You know that anecdotal evidence like that is logically
fallacious.

Have you told the friends and relatives of those shot this? And if you
have, what was their reaction?
The criminal who shot the four officers should not have been on the
streets.
How do stricter laws stop a man like him ?
Laws can only try to prevent things happening, no 100% guarantees.
That's correct. We already have laws against criminals owning
firearms, murder, and such. Seems like those laws need to be more
effectively enforced, not that we need new laws.
I think strong enforcement together with uniformity of laws is the
best approach.
