This a political question. Let me first make very clear that it's a
theoretical question. I'm a gun owning Republican & I completely
support second amendment rights for all. So here's the question - How
can people say that widespread gun ownership keeps the government
respectful of citizens and their liberties - when in Saddam's Iraq,
apparently most if not all homes contained full auto AKs? Widespread
gun ownership existed alongside the most rigid tyranny.
