Part Deux:
A mathematician and an engineer are given this problem. There is a
beautiful woman at the end of the room, 100 meter from you. You can
walk towards her by half the distance at a time, and do whatever you
want when you reach her. How long will it take to reach the target?
Mathematician: "Sadly enough, I will not even try, because it is
impossible. It will take me an infinite amount of time to reach the
girl. I give up."
Engineer: "I may never be able to reach the end point exactly, but for
all causes and purposes I will be able to get CLOSE ENOUGH. Here I go,
baby!!"
I wish I could say that I am the engineer and you the mathematician,
but you are neither one
Apparently, neither are you, as neither engineers nor
mathematicians have any problems with Zeno's Paradox
any more... and haven't for some time.
And yet, it is a very useful -not to mention attention grabbing and
fun- method.
Lying? Especially when you KNOW you're lying? That's "fun" to
you?

So, you're nothing but another troll, eh? Or a Democrat.
Or, most likely, both.
I simply cited a very commonly used anecdote, to illustrate the
difference between a so-called perfect science (math) and the more
applied and pragmatic disciplines.

I do realize the the Zeno's Paradox was solved a long time ago by
Newton and Leibnitz, when the independently invented (discovered, some
would say) calculus. It goes to an infinitesimal sum.

You just call me a liar. Could you please elaborate? Please specify a
statement made by me which is:

- false
- I happen to be aware of its lack of veracity.

(the two above have to hold for a statement to be qualified as a lie)

-Ramon

ps: I withdraw my suggestion that you help set Klaus and Scout
straight. You are evidently too emotionally involved (even hurt, some
would posit), and hence not qualified.

Ramon! Klaus and Miller are two of the biggest losers on this ng.
You're wasting your time trying to reason with unstable lowlife.

RAMON! "Piglet" is a documented neo-nazi and racist, who's already
had at least TWO accounts terminated for forging posts and
threatening people.

Don't take MY word for it. Google is your friend...
