Mini guns are quite useful for LEO usage.
Guess you've never had to Deal with Biker Gangs, MEth Labs, Drug
Dealers, Drug Runners....
That is a LOAD of BS..... There is NEVER as reason for Civilian Law
Enforcement to have Fullauto Weapons in their inventory, in the
United States of America.
How foolish you are.
Why do prefer to have the police that you rely on, to be under armed?
There is EVERY REASON for the police to be EQUALY(and better!) armed
as the crimminals they have to fight against.
Aparently, you never even heard of the North Hollywood bank roberies,
where the cops had to "appropriate" better firearms to take down the
criminals? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Hollywood_shootout
A single hunting rifle could have taken them both out from a safe
distance, with only ONE shot per robber. and NOT endangered people and
property behind the robbers.
Hardly...
The cops couldn't get clear shots, nor could they shoot through the walls
and buildings they were hiding behind.
Damn, yer one stump stupid idiot!
And yes, S.W.A.T. is a CIVILIAN Law enforcment tatical group... you
retard!
I STILL see NO valid reason for a Gatling-type minigun firing thousands of
rounds per minute for any law enforcement task.
1 burts, from the CHP Chopper and each perp would have been dead....
All "extra rounds" woulda been in the ground.....
WHERE would all the stray rounds go? They can travel MILES and still be
lethal, and able to penetrate multiple walls of a building(.308cal).
