Too bad it wasn't an ex, then she could have had a
magic restraining order from a Judge.

WEST COVINA, California (AP) -- A woman was asking a
911 dispatcher for help when her pleas were
interrupted by gunshots, then silence.
She was shot to death.
The woman told the dispatcher someone was trying to
break into her home in upscale West Covina, Los
Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Dan Rosenberg said.
"Deputies heard gunshots followed by silence and an
open phone line," he said.
Deputies arrived at the house, 20 miles east of Los
Angeles, a few minutes after Wednesday's late morning
call.
The woman, whose name was not released by police, had
been shot several times. Paramedics pronounced her
dead at the scene.
"At this point we believe it was a burglary gone
awry," Rosenberg said.
Investigators are trying to determine if anything was
taken, Deputy Luis Castro said.
While police were investigating the shooting, a man
arrived at the home asking about his wife.
When he heard that the woman had been shot and killed,
he collapsed and started to cry, saying "No! She just
called me. You lie."
The man was placed in a patrol car and taken to a
sheriff's station, police said.
Witnesses said they saw one or more men running from
the house, Rosenberg said. Investigators used
bloodhounds to conduct yard-to-yard searches.
No arrests had been made by Thursday morning, deputies
said.
This makes you very happy to lean about this event
doesn't it you sick gun loon. I bet if it were a house
full of children screaming for someone to help them as
they were massacred you would drool like the sick
person you really are. You whackJob gun nutters are
worse then the guy that does the actual shooting you
sick ***.
Only the Police should have guns, they will protect you.
Keep chanting that, maybe someone will believe it.
Protect me from what? I am smart enough to seek out and
live in a low crime area in the first place. Where I
live you can leave your car unlocked and running while
you stop in to gas up and pick up a morning coffee. The
only ones that come to the door are roving bible
thumpers and the paperboy with the morning paper. There
has never been a home invasion in this area. Once there
was a tree stuck by lightning that everyone was talking
about. That was as scary as it gets. To bad you are so
scared that you sleep with a loaded gun waiting for the
day that some will be marching down your street to
disarm you. What a pathetic way to live. You search the
papers looking for sick twisted stories of those that
have been assaulted and dream of how you will become
some super hero and save yourself. What a simple minded
moron you are.
Sounds like you live someplace where the only thing worth
stealing is the outhouse.
My neighborhood is a little more upscale. Unfortunately
it's a little too close to Washington DC, and we all know
how safe that 'hood is.

To bad for you. You sound like Patriot Games who says he lives on the Gulf
and would never move while he complains that all he sees in the 711 are
foreigners(to put it nicely) working and hanging out and there are drug
dealers and prostitutes in the unemployment lines. I live in a small town in
New Hampshire where we still have paperboys and children can take the
shortcut through the woods out back to get to school. Guns are everywhere
but very few hang out on the gun nut usenet groups and no one brags about it
to everyone. If someone has a gun you would never know it until hunting
season opens and the side roads are crowded with parked trucks. I bet you
think I don't own a gun too. This is the make up of the typical gun loon. If
I told you I were a VFW member you would call me a liar, right?
