Notice Dougie's lack of a direct answer to Buck's question.

Repeating yourself, Dougie? Not a good sign. ;)
Not even the US Supreme Court can successfuly dispute
what I've said on TPG about the Second Amendment.
Oh, yea?!? Well, read on:
Justices agree on right to own guns
By MARK SHERMAN, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON - Americans have a right to own guns, Supreme Court
justices declared Tuesday in a historic and lively debate that could
lead to the most significant interpretation of the Second Amendment
since its ratification two centuries ago.
[...]
Inside the court, at the end of a session extended long past the
normal one hour, a majority of justices appeared ready to say that
Americans have a "right to keep and bear arms" that goes beyond the
amendment's reference to service in a militia.
[...]
The basic issue for the justices is whether the amendment protects an
individual's right to own guns no matter what, or whether that right
is somehow tied to service in a state militia.
A key justice, Anthony Kennedy, seemed to settle that question early
on when he said the Second Amendment gives "a general right to bear
arms." He is likely to be joined by Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito,
Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas -- a majority of the nine-member
court.

Hotly Anticipated Washington D.C. Gun Ban Case Goes Before Justices
WASHINGTON, March 18, 2008
Right To Bear Arms Revisited
(CBS/AP) The Supreme Court appeared ready Tuesday to endorse the view
that the Second Amendment gives individuals the right to own guns, but
was less clear about whether to retain the District of Columbia's ban
on handguns.
[...]
Several justices were skeptical that the Constitution, if it gives
individuals' gun rights, could allow a complete ban on handguns when,
as Chief Justice John Roberts pointed out, those weapons are most
suited for protection at home.
"What is reasonable about a ban on possession" of handguns?" Roberts
asked at one point.
[...]
Given the Court's strong conservative makeup, it is likely that both a
right to own, possess and use a firearm and the government's right to
restrict that ownership, possession will survive the Heller case, says
CBS News legal analyst Andrew Cohen. The only thing that remains
reasonably unpredictable and mysterious is the language the Court's
majority will use in conjuring up the legal standard that will govern
review of gun control legislation.

Sorry, Dougie, but your usefulness to "Little Dennie" Henigan and "The
Brady Bunch" as a gun control propagandist here in Usenet are at an
end. :D
