Let me get this straight: If someone knows something that you don't know
(is that possible?), you call them an ass wipe? Do you teach your kids to
behave that way? "Hey dad, you oughta hear the ass wipe that teaches my
economics class!"

The 6th amendment addresses the concept of "discovery": The right to
confront and cross-examine witnesses also applies to physical evidence;
the prosecution must present physical evidence to the jury, providing the
defense ample opportunity to cross-examine its validity and meaning.
Prosecution generally may not refer to evidence without first presenting
it.

Our government has decided it can prosecute without presenting evidence,
which in this case might be a transcript or recording gained via
surveillance. Why? Because it might reveal sources and methods. That
violates the bill of rights. If anyone thinks this is OK, they are living
in the wrong country.

Time of war or grave national danger is an exception, one that has been
consistently accepted throughout or history. Sources and methods are vital
bits of information that must be protected to be useful.

Again anme one citizen who has been harmed.
