What's a car designed to do?

Move people from one place to another with a modicum of safety.

**Yep.

What's a gun designed to do?

Move a small object from one place to another with great speed,
accuracy and a modicum of safety.

**Nope. In the vast majority of cases, the projectile is irreparably
damaged, after one use. Automobiles, for the most part, can be reused
many times.

So the ability to damage to a projectile defines the purpose of a
firearm? Now THAT'S an interesting thought.

**Nope. I explained what happens to a bullet after it leaves the barrel
of a gun. Usually, it is destroyed and is unable to be reused. OTOH, an
automobile after it has completed it's journey, can usually be reused.

And this is relevant how?

**Read RD's erronious words. I merely corrected his misconceptions.

I just did. It appears you've completely misunderstood the original
question, introducing a total irrelevancy into the discussion and calling it
an analogy (or a restatement of someone elses nonexistant analogy), all in
an attempt (as I said) to cover up the fact that you've blown it yet again.
Then you try to blame any confusion on RD. You really ARE a piece of work,
Trevor..

Isn't it passing strange that a device seen as being benign is
responsible for so much more death, injury, and property damage BY ACCIDENT
than is another device that is seen as being inherently bad when that device
is used ON PURPOSE?
