So. To prevent further incidents of criminals having access to a
gun, you want to stop me from buying any more? Of course, the murder of
those people is the overriding event, to the point that, if he is punished
for a crime, it will NOT be 'possessing a firearm in the commission of a
felony' but rather the crime of murder. Just as he would've been had he
used, say, a knife, or a bomb. What good would your proposed 'anti-straw
purchase' ordinance done then?
