*********************Also, since CA became a republic in the 1800s,
It never put the
2nd amendment (right to own guns) into its State's Constitution.
So, that is why it is difficult for California County Sheriffs to
issue CCW permits,
and in most circumstances, they don't.
And also that is why elected California legislators keep on putting
anti-gun laws into effect.
So, Barrett rifles (great maker of the 50bmg rifle) says:

The California Legislature has banned the .50bmg from the good
citizens of the state of California violating their rights and the
constitution of our republic.
Therefore, Barrett will not sell or service any California
government agencies!
