At first, I didn't do ANYTHING. In fact, I purposely wore blue jeans,
plain dark t-shirt and a plain ball cap thinking that would help me
blend in. But there were 6 or 8 old guys in NRA hats lined up at the
front door like a gauntlet asking people "are YOU an NRA member?" "are
YOU an NRA member?" "are YOU an NRA member?" as they came through the
front door. I guess I was the first one to come along to say "no" and
then they swooped in on me like vultures. "WHY aren't you an NRA
member?" "Don't you know what the NRA does for this country?" "Don't
you know what you can do with an NRA membership?" and on and on and
on... I tried to explain to them that I was just there to look around
and didn't own a gun, never shot one, and wasn't interested in getting
one. Then they offered me a free trial NRA membership which I
politely declined. "WHY don't you want a free membership?" "It won't
cost you anything." "You're not obligated to join later." ... and
other questions followed I can't exactly remember but it was mostly
about me getting a gun and learning how to shoot. But to make a long
story short, they just wouldn't take no for an answer and I was
getting a bit ticked at this point, so finally I told them what I
thought of the NRA and guns in general and OH MY GOD! The leader of
that little NRA rat pack got so upset, I thought he was going to have
a heart attack. I was actually scared at that point and can't recall
all the shit that came out of his mouth but I swear if he armed, he
would have drawn on me. He then grabbed me by the arm and kinda
pulled me away from the door, yelling at the top of his lungs giving
me a lecture about the NRA. Then the other NRA guys pulled him off
me and shuffled me through the door.

All I can say is, so much for the NRA believing in first amendment
rights. All they really care about is guns, guns, and MORE GUNS.

I simply don't understand how such a little guy as you can come up with
so much bullshit. There must be more to you than what first
appears......


It's just that he's otherwise constipated and it's got to come out somehow...
