I know an engineer that works for Federal Cartridge and Wal Mart is
their largest retail customer. They make products that are sold
exclusively at Wal Mart. The product they make for WM is not lower in
quality, it's just sold in larger quantity. At Federal - 1 bad round
in a million is considered a failure in the quality control process so
I don't think you should worry about any Federal products sold at WM.
BTW - my local WM does not sell guns anymore, but they do sell handgun
ammo - just bought some last week on the way to the range. They had
9mm, .45, 380, .40 and others.
