Superior in some areas, not some much in others. Grap an M-14, the
average ammunition load normally carried in the field and go on a
hike. At the end tell me which one is superior then fire 100-rounds
fully automatic and answer the question again. Well that is if you
can raise your arm.

you hit the nail there-exactly- who wants to carry that heavy ammo and gun
all day, and get beat up with the full auto recoil, to hit nothing and get
shot by an AK anyway.

I'd take the M-14 in semi mode for a 200+ yard shot, anyday, but not as an
assault weapon full auto mode

just going deer hunting with ONE BOX of 20 shells, is a PITA

carry a 9 lb. gun all day, by the end of the day, it feels like it weighs 50
lbs.
