However, just for my information, is it your contention that the

attacker?
And? You still wish to stick with your claim of 200 by the FBI?
**The data supplied by the FBI pertains to the number of DGUs
resulting in the death of the perp.
Actually, no, it really doesn't. It only includes those deaths where the
decision was made on-site and the shooter not charged. It does not
include court judgements later where the decision of the court was that
the shooting was, in fact, in self defense.
It is, AFAIK, accurate. No one has
been able to refute the data, so we can consider the number correct.
That number, and what it represents and what it doesn't represent has
been shown to you several times. You simply don't accept any other
explanation other than the one you have hung your hat on.
That other DGUs occur, where the perp is not killed is beyond dispute.
It would seem that the total number of DGUs PA in the US is
approximately 300.
There may be close to that many per month in the cite I gave you and that
is someone looking for news articles all the way from Oz.
That would be a very long way from 1.5 million (or whatever figure is
being promoted this week).
My personal opinion is that it is around 200 - 250 thousand not 2.5
million (Kleck). However, I have not performed a study so it is simply
personal opinion from reading newspapers, seeing the news and gathering
information through the internet.

Senator Dianne Feinstein, on White House pressure to expand government
surveillance, meant for suspected terrorists.
Too bad she doesn't feel that way about other rights like the right to
keep and bear arms.
