No, they wouldn't. I didn't see an attempted murder. Just your everyday
schoolyard fight. If you shoot somebody just because they punched or
kicked you, YOU will go to jail. Try it sometime and let us know what
happens.

If you consider that an "everyday schoolyard fight," what would you consider
the Battle of the Bulge? A minor skirmish? That was NOT an everyday
schoolyard fight," it was a mobbing of two young men by a gang. Their
injuries could have been life threatening. They could have been killed.
Hardly a jury of 12 good people and true would convict them had they used
deadly force to stop the beating.

Three or four young punks were convicted for beating homeless men. One of
the fools taped the beatings. Slam dunk convictions. If the video you
think was so funny was presented to the authorities and the punks doing the
beating and kicking identified, a good prosecutor to convict them of
attempted murder.

If worst came to worst and some gang were beating up on me, I'd do my best
to kill them and you know I have the means. I'd rather be judged by 12 than
carried by 6.
