I live with an animal lover. My wife has been a Vet Tech for most of
her adult life and loves animals dearly. While my home is surrounded
by bird feeders and bat boxes and yes even a little something for
those pesky squirrels she knows the difference between an animal lover
and a fanatic in which those people are. Though I could never see her
kill an animal in sport she doesn't belittle hunting knowing how
important wildlife management is, not to mention the heritage that
goes along with hunting. She's the first to criticize those that go to
rallies in gas burning hogs on behalf of protesting pollution that's
affecting wildlife. She hates when she hears a rancher can't manage
his land because it has the possibility of an endangered salamander
living there. She can't stand why we are making our middle east
enemies rich from oil sales while the so-called animal rights fanatics
won't let us drill her and does take issue when those loons are called
animal lovers. Just the other day she mentioned don't some animals
cross oceans and continents, so why don't these people go to other
countries where that government will throw them in jail for protesting
in front of a bulldozer. I guess on he behalf I'm trying to say (way
too long) don't confuse a true animal lover to a fanatical group of
hypocrites.People like my wife that actually dedicate their lives to
saving animals everyday in an O.R. deserve better...
