I would bet that if I blew someone away in a recognized defense of my wife, I wouldn't be the one who lost. That would be a case where violence solved an situation.

Stopping/killing a criminal in the commencement of a violent crime, is always a good thing.

And no, I hope I never have to look forward to that situation.

But, I still hope that I will be the one giving the police report as to explain how my bullets or fist was found deep inside the perps cranuim.
