Let's all move to Oz - NOT!

I looked at the graph too Brian, but unlike you I also looked at the
accompanying text. In particular I took note of ;

'The way in which crime is recorded varies across jurisdictions and
over time, so comparing crime rates between countries (and, sometimes,
within a country) is not necessarily an accurate indicator of
differences in actual levels of crime in those countries. Similarly,
crime rate trend data in a single jurisdiction are not necessarily
reflective of trends in actual levels of crime. Changes in rates of
recorded crime may be the result of changes in the way crime data are
collected, or changes in the proportion of victims reporting criminal
offences to police. ... The changes affected recorded violent crimes
more than property or other crimes. Incremental changes over time in
recording procedures in the United States, Canada and Australia may
also have influenced recorded violent crime trend data in these
countries.'

So you concede the data you offered may be useless junk based on the
above analysis of it unreliability? Interesting.

Shabby effort, better luck next time.

Well I thought YOUR contribution was anything BUT shabby, Phil. I
couldn't have done as thorough a rebuttal to your nonsense than you
yourself did.

Do you enjoy embarrassing yourself before a world wide audience?
Certainly seems so.

You appear totally oblivious to what's actually going on. The point
made in the quote above cautions on COMPARING COUNTRIES. The data I
offered made NO comparisons with other countries, it simply reported
the official victims of crime data for Australia.

Therefore the data I put forward stands as official and correct, the
data put forward by another in the graph needs to judged with some
discretion, discretion which is probably beyond you I'm afraid.

Put simply a reservation on the data in the graph IN NO WAY affects the
data I put forward, even a fool like you should be able to grasp that.
