BINGO!
The first and second Amendments are the one that I and SPAZ are
talking about!
No guns allowed, according to him!
No capturing of the public airwaves, according to what the many "housing
Associations" I have seen first hand!
Well, no.
Well, hell yes!
First off, I'm not aware of any interpretation of the
1st/2nd Amendment that pertains to reception of public airwave
transmissions...though that is a legal right.
I don't care what YOU have seen.
I know what I have seen and personaly encountered, AND what "SPAZ" said, regarding the statements HE said about guns not being allowed.
Secondly, the
restriction in question is not that you may not capture the public
airwaves.
I disagree!
How many times must I say this, when YOU are not aware of what some "associations" have set as "laws"?
It is that you may not mount the receiving equipment in such
a way that it causes an eyesore (according to the H.A.'s definitions).
BINGO!
That is what I said!
One person's "eyesore" is another person's "Who gives a ***?"
Hey! Your horse toothed cross eyed cancerouse Islamic children with the bald heads are an "EYESORE" while playing in the front yards, if the "H.A" says it is.... or will be!
Now, it may be that the aesthetics restriction has the practical effect
of barring you from capturing those signals, but that's a secondary
effect..and it may well be that you could successfully challenge the
restriction on those grounds.
Ahhh.. The CHALLENGE!
I like that! :)
I wasn't arguing that, as that is truly stupid and wrong.
However, Minorities are refused to have certain TV entertainment, as
dish size limits ARE set, even if they don't pose a threat to the
buildings or neighbors, by posting the dish in concrete, in the soil! :)
Uhm...that restriction has nothing at all to do with their status as
minorities, unless you're claiming that they ONLY apply to minorities.
It has EVERYTHING to do with it!
Try to find certain FTA (Free to Air) or even PAY FOR signals for certain countries on DISH or Direct TV!
They Do not exist!
Yet, those MINORITY country's DO have a plethora of "homeland stuff" available when I know where to look, and hook them up!
If I move into Spaz's neighborhood (though I wouldn't...I don't really
like trailer parks) and choose to keep a legal firearm in my bedside
table for personal protection, there isn't ***-all he or the
association can do about it.
I agree!
But, according to him, there is!
So then *I* was right, and not him...as you previously claimed.
Yer both wrong!
And that's is what scares me!
Then why did the police have to be called by the white family next door
in the middle of my installation of a dish installation, and tell me to
stop when doing a Telstar 5 Instal for a rather nice Chinese family?
Before I address that...can you tell me what the respective ethnicities
of the parties involved had to do with anything?
Racism.
I installed because I was called to do my job, and do it well.
The Caucasians next door to my customer only came near and talked to me, because I too am pale skinned, and said: "We don't like the look of that DirecTV" dish there. Move it."
That is when THEY called the police, after I told them to snort my anal vapors.
