To go out every day with a loaded weapon you are prepared,
ready, and willing to use it to shoot a human being.

Well yeah. If are carrying a gun and not prepared to use it you are
invting
trouble. What's your point?

"If you truly did not want to shoot someone, you would not have a
loaded weapon."

Bull***. If I really didn't want to hurt anybody then I wouldn't
defend my wife. Is that really what you are saying?

My point, Guns kill they do not defend,

Guns fired in defense do very well at that. If the attacker dies, oh,
well......

the device is not designed
efficiently for the purpose of self-defense,

Actually, it is...

it is designed to kill and
is quite effective at that.

It will do that, too, since our creator placed vital organs in the
easiest part of the body to hit.

The intentions of the owner are very
selfish,

No, the intentions of the attacker were very selfish......you have it,
he wants it and doesn't feel he needs to work for it. That kind of
attitude can get you killed where I come from.....of course, that goes
back to this "intelligent design" thingy where the vital organs are
placed in the torso.

and to operate this piece of machinery is a lack of respect for
human life, especially when used as a means to empower or suffice the
illness of paranoia, nervousness,

This part is basically true......

or a means to live life without fear.

I Live without fear whether I am armed or not. If I am armed, however,
I am better prepared to continue living that life without fear.

When the use is justified, it allows for legal murder of another
individual, much as the legal system allows the state to commit murder
by execution.

Wrong. There is no such thing as legal murder. Murder is a crime.
Homicide is not necessarily one. Please try to learn the proper words
when trying to debate. It makes it easier for both sides.

I know the argument, criminals carry weapons, and weapon owners fear
others who commit crimes to intentionally harm or that could result in
their own death.

Huh???

To kill a person or shoot them with your firearm, is
just as wrong as a criminal who kills his victim.

No, it isn't. We are saving the state money.

What weapon owners
wants is a retroactive means to stop one from killing them, in turn
becoming the attacker, and as I see it 2 wrongs do not make a right,
and both should be punished. No one has the right to kill another
individual, being ready to use it says "I want to kill someone who
tries to kill me, and I will kill him or her first".

You don't make much sense in much of what you say.

My second point is my fix to the problem, simple, disarm, find an
alternative means of self defense that allows both attackers to be
immobilized, retained, or otherwise apprehended without death. Stop
elevating a situation that in most cases leads to one person getting
injured or killed,

The proper word is "excalating". As noted, please try to learn the
language.....

and live life like the majority of people, without
weapons. Weapon owners are the minority, and even less carry 24/7, let
alone everywhere they go, and think they require it.

I understand law enforcement,

Oh? Really? Just what is the difference between the goblin I face and
the goblin that law enforcement faces? Take all the screen you need.

I don't have to attempt to arrest the goblin, but that doesn't change
his makeup.

military, government, and other rare circumstances,

Which is how self defense occurs. It is one of those rare
circumstances.

but to
go get a newspaper, jogging, or on a hike?

What means do you have of predicting exactly when that need will arise?
You could make millions selling it.

Maybe if you lived in the presence of wild animals,

In many areas where I live, I do.

but I believe most people are reasonable, even
a criminal who is armed, I do not believe people in general want to
commit murder, do you?

I am honestly becoming convinced that you are a naive idiot.

"To carry a firearm 24/7, not leave home without it, have it loaded
and ready all the time, in the USA and always prepared to shoot a
person who
implies they will cause you harm, is in my opinion acting like a
fanatic. -it is not a required resource to live and/or survive."

I don't expect my house to catch fire today either , but I have both
fire extinguishers and insurance ....... just in case. Do you? Do you
expect to have an auto accident today? Do you carry insurance or just
shop for it when you ....'get a feeling'?

People discuss self defense as if you have as much time to do it in as
they have to discuss it. In reality, you have a flash to identify the
threat and react. Whether or not you actually pull the trigger is
something that you have a microsecond to decide and a lifetime
to live with.
