Note, I'm saying you have the individual right to keep and bear arms
for defense of the state. The 2nd is clear about that.
No,All the 2nd says about "well-regulated militias" is that they "are
necessary to a free state"(like saying its a nice thing),and it makes no
requirement to be IN a militia to have the RKBA,places NO such restriction
for RKBA to be used only in defense of the state,and CLEARLY says the RKBA
is the PEOPLE's right.
The SAME "people" as in the 1st,4th,5th amendments that are also INDIVIDUAL
rights,and widely acknowledged as such.
The Founders had no concept of any "collective" right that only could be
exercised enmasse.
IOW,the militia is only one reason for gov't to NOT INFRINGE on the
people's RKBA.They simply could not list every reason for the RKBA.
