Weasel Logic- Gun Industry to Blame For Improving Product

We've been tricked, ladies and gentlemen. tricked by the gun industry.
According to the latest from Violence Policy Center spokesblob Lee
"Jabba" Harrison, the firearms industry has been making improvements
to their product solely to entice us into buying new guns.

They know the guns they've sold us last forever, so the only way to
get us to buy a new gun is to slap on some fancy glo-in-the-dark
sites, increase the caliber, add magazine capacity, and get Charlton
Heston to hold it up at the next NRA meeting.

Where *any* other industry might be commended for improving its
product, the VPC condemns it in this case as "public welfare." Note
how, with his final revealing comment, Jabba tried to confuse and blur
the line between actual "public welfare" and the actions of private
individuals privately purchasing goods with their own money.

Is it jealousy? Is Harrison angry because he can't afford a new
Winchester lever action? Is he angry because people are making
personal decisions without his input or control? Or is he just on
another one of his sugar highs?
