Uh, no. The coke that cost a nickel when you were a boy, was a 7 oz.
serving. It has since been replaced by the ubiquitous 12 oz. can,
which typically vends for 50 to 75 cents. The coke that costs a buck
now is a half liter, almost 5 times as much as the 7oz. nickel coke.

WRONG. ^That Coke I paid a nickle for was a ten oz. in the 1960s and 16 oz.
Coke was 25 cents in vending machines. And a 12 oz. Coke is now a dollar in
vending machines around here.
