Yep. Which means it is neither your bit or the government's bit to
control. I have carried a gun on and off for fifty years and have yet
to shoot someone who didn't need to be shot.

Neither. I do feel that by carrying a gun I have one more option than
those who don't carry have under the same conditions. Do you feel
differently?

The majority of homicides are committed by those with rather long rap
sheets. You are correct in that it is not all of them.
