Just one - big - problem with the worldview that inanimate objects
cause violent crime. It's the enormously-disparate murder rates of
blacks in America from the the 3/4 of Americans who are white; you
don't have one group with a murder rate EIGHT times that of the
majority - when all are subject to the same laws - because guns cause
violent crime!
All police forces in America know it; all but the tiniest do "crime
analysis" - a fancy phrase for who does what crime in what part of
town. My less-euphemistic phrase is that "murder doesn't happen on
Watauga Dr." - a middle-class Jewish neighborhood in nearby Greensboro
- in spite of those there having infinitely more money to buy guns with
than the black ghetto dwellers a 10-minute drive away, who are bound
(unbound?) by exactly the same laws.
It is time to tell the truth.
