It was announce (news) that the New Orleans police are
forbidding ANYONE except law enforcement to be armed
in New Orleans -- and the report specifically stated this
included people with pre-existing CCW/CHL.

I guess this lets out their own doctor (who happens to be
a psychiatrist who works the streets with a side-arm in
holster).

Probably not, they will just make an exception for "their
own."
