Workshop description:
Sowing Seeds is an intensive, two-day training designed to help
participants effectively and creatively teach about the most important
issues of our time. The workshop is designed for educators, animal,
environmental and human rights activists, and anyone wishing to
develop their teaching and communication abilities to work for
positive social change. Participants will spend each day learning how
to stimulate critical thinking and offer learning activities that
inspire students to make positive choices that benefit themselves,
other people, other species and the Earth. Educators may elect to
integrate humane education into their existing curriculum and can also
develop elective humane education courses at their schools. Activists
can integrate the skills learned to more effectively educate others
about issues important to them or create a humane education program in
their local community.
Sliding scale registration fee: $49.00 - $179.00
