Is it a fact that the sun is a star?

Not a fact. Just a fuzzy definition.

Is it a fact that Pluto orbits the sun?

Depends on your theory of time. Block time says no.

Wrong. Pluto orbits the sun, over time, forming an orbital trajectory
that endures in block time. Changing your metaphysics of time doesn't
mean things cease to be or do what they are and do.

Wilkins is always the realist.

Pluto orbits the sun in a heliocentric frame of reference. In a Plutocentric frame the sun orbits Pluto. The choice of frame is determined purely by simplicity (Check out Poincare: Science and Hypothesis). This was beat to death in a previous thread.

In a galactocentric frame of reference, Pluto just travels in a wobble
without making a loop at all, except around the galactic center. In
the time that it takes Pluto to make one orbit in the heliocentric
notion, the sun has moved a distance more than 300 times the distance
between Pluto and the sun.
