The average depth of topsoil throughout the world is about eight

old.
This is dopey even for you.
Let's accept this nonsense just for a second, and examine your
analytical ability. You cannot base your estimate on the *average*
depth of topsoil. You have to account for the amount of topsoil where
it is _deepest_.
That being said, the whole thing is nonsense anyway, for reasons
others already have listed.

Do try to think Chris. I realize that will be a stretch for you, but
try anyway.
particular activity.
The decomposition of leaves and other dead plant matter is where theYou are wrong, but let's examine this.
majority of dirt comes from.
Just what is dirt?
dirt (dûrt)
n.
1. Earth or soil.
2.
a. A filthy or soiling substance, such as mud or dust.
b. Excrement.
3. A squalid or filthy condition.
4. One that is mean, contemptible, or vile.
5.
a. Obscene language or subject matter.
b. Malicious or scandalous gossip.
c. Information that embarrasses or accuses.
6. Unethical behavior or practice; corruption.
7. Material, such as gravel or slag, from which metal is extracted in
mining.
[Middle English, variant of drit, excrement, filth, mud, from Old
Norse.]
Definition 1 seems to be suitable.
Let's look at soil:
soil (soil)
n.
1. The top layer of the earth's surface, consisting of rock and
mineral particles mixed with organic matter.
2. A particular kind of earth or ground: sandy soil.
3. Country; land: native soil.
4. The agricultural life: a man of the soil.
5. A place or condition favorable to growth; a breeding ground.
It seems that the all-seething-ignoramus actually is referring to
soil, although he calls it dirt, due to his overpowering scatological
tendencies, and world class ignorance. Definition 1 of soil seems to
be what he is futilely attempting to describe, but one can see that
'his' definition of dirt conveniently, and incorrectly, omits the rock
and mineral particles.
Where did 4 billion years worth of dirt go?You pounded it up your ass, along with all the sediment from the Grand
Canyon, remember?
[chuckle]Keep laughing, moron. You've already been disabused of this
imbecility numerous times, under your various noms de imbecile, and
you continue to willfully ignore sedimentary rock, geologic processes,
and scientific knowledge in general, if not in toto.
