ISTR that a few years ago a science teacher in the local school ran a
project to check the DNA of people in the area against samples from
Chedder Man to see if the local population was descended from his
people. After lots of car washes, bake sales, donations and such the
testing was done and the result? The teacher was the most closely
related person. So, just how long has his family been in the area and
what does he think of these newcomers who have moved in over the past
6 or 7 thousand years?
