It is. Around the Sun. But it is still on a "fixed" orbit.  Which is it's
foundation of course.

but the bible doesn't mention orbits at all. if it had thought the
earth was moving it would have said it. it doesn't. it's not literally

They did a pretty good job with their descriptions considering they did not
know what we know today about the earth's relative position in space and
it's orbit; Nor would they have had the words to explain it if they did.

IOW the authors didn't know science....like celestial mechanics...or
evolution
