Look at the oceans with Google earth. Imagine (if you can) water
being only in the deep dark blue areas; and not very deep in those
areas at that. See all of those possible land bridges? You can
almost walk around the earth. Even to Hawaii. Now imagine an earth
with a water vapor canopy as well as water much under the ground. So
much water under the ground in fact that the earth was fed by
fountains and mist, not rain. Just as described IN the bible. THAT
would be more then enough to flood the earth then run off into the
lighter areas in the oceans.
there was no water canopy. and what is the kinetic energy released by
enough water to flood the earth in 40 days? creationists have all
kinds of problems with their 'ideas'.
It only RAINED for 40 days. The fountains of the deep flooded the
earth for an additional 4 months. The flood took 6 months. NOT a
year. Noah stayed on the boat the additional time as God instructed
which equaled approx. a year
other story.
Not that over 100 years of agreement on this from all of mainstream religion
would men anything to you.
