That, and they LIKE to fling their feces. That is, the faction
currently in control does. I try to keep remembering they aren't the
only ones, because I have a friend.

(Not in the figurative sense, but a literal one. He's married to my
best friend that I love like a sister, and he IS good enough for her.
That's my opinion of him, if you guys speak Girl well enough to grasp
all the ramifications.)

He's a pro-lifer who in no way agrees with shooting abortion doctors.
A Christian who doesn't hate gay people. And a conservative who is not
a bigot or a plutocrat or a sh*t-kicker.

He's been betrayed so many ways and so many times by his supposed
leaders over the last few years, yet he soldiers on. The poor guy
leads a hell of a life.

One wonders why he keeps following since he in no way agrees with the
current leadership. Unless he is planning on removing them.
The sad thing is that there are members of political parties who will
vote for someone simply because he wears the name of their political
party. No matter how much they dislike the candidate, and no matter how
much more they like the opposition. While I vote almost entirely
democrat, I have voted for a number of republicans and independants. But
not lately. There are very few republicans now that I would vote for.
Simply because the last few years have shown me that they put the party
above everything.
