Sean a kook?
Since he accepts microevolution and natural selection, just like
you, I agree.
Sean refuses to step out of his genetic box. He is a one pony
show. I have asked him repeatedly to connect his genetic claims
to macro- reality. Never once has he complied. He is the typical
Net evolutionist; talking incomprehensible jargon to himself and
a few others, totally unaware that the real battle is to make
ordinary people understand. If a person cannot win the support of
ordinary persons, by making them understand, then they are
propagating mysticism, demanding unwarranted trust. Real scholars
operate on both levels, academic and public.
Evolution has never been about a change in gene frequencies. To
say alleles change has no correspondence whatsoever to the
**concept** of evolution. Sean has been brainwashed by
Materialism, intimidated and pushed around, desiring acceptance
from his worldview enemies. Evolution gained acceptance within 15
years of 1859 when the discipline of genetics didn't even exist.
To say natural selection operates at the genetic level is
testifying to a miracle since the concept was formulated by
Darwin in the Fall of 1838 (= LOL!).

It is called progress. Science, unlike religions that are all
essentially conservative, is rather keen on it. Science doesn't
have holy figures to venerate, or holy texts that must not be
revised What Darwin knew/thought about evolution is irrelevant for
the theory of evolution as it is understood today- Hide quoted

Extreme ignorance.
Bookstore shelves are literally filled with books telling us how the
foundation and structure his theory stands firm today.
Yes, the *foundation* is firm.
Glad to see that you agree, Doc.
However people having been building a
house on that foundation since then
Not entirely accurate.
I said Darwin's foundation AND structure still stands. See Gould 2002:
"The Structure Of Evolutionary Theory." In it he explains how the
foundation and structure have been modified, but both remain
"Darwinian."
Call it Darwinian or whatever you like; the ToE today builds on the
foundation laid by Darwin just as astronomy builds from the discoveries of
Galilelo, and electronics on the Maxwell's equations. Gravity by Newton,
Relativity by Einstein. Voltage by Volta, Current by Ampere, Energy by
Joule, radioactivity by Becquerel
Darwin or not - it is entirely relevant bout you are addicted, hypnotized by
words, and unable to unsderstand that words are not the real thing.
Words cover, when used properly, facts. God is a word, What is hidden behind
it? Ther eare differetn opinions on that - but to Ray, his is the one and
only right one. What he says God is, God is, he is the ultimate authority on
spiriitual matters.
We may safely ignore all that has been written, excpet the bible, Dr. Scott,
and the idiot Velikovsky.
When we have sorted that out we may be ready for the next step.
