They are, though. Your entire argument is based on your insistence
that anything that can be observed is subject to the laws of physics.
That's a purely metaphysical statement. You just think it's so
transparently and obviously true that no reasonable person can
dispute it, so you take
it as an axiom. But theists start from a different axiom. Theists
believe that there is something prior to material existence that has
the ability to cause or control the laws of material behavior. This
violates your axiom, but that's your personal problem, not a problem
with logic. In order to believe in miracles and still do science, all
that's necessary is to believe that God will not perform miracles that
mess up your observations when you're doing science.

That argument validates not only miracles but every other claim anyone cares
to make.
Eat three almonds a day and you *will* live to be 100. Unless someone
observes you doing this, then you are back on the tables.
Take this berry drink and you *will* get over what ails you, unless of
course somebody investigates.
Matthew 7:7-11 unless of course somebody observes you as you try to get rid
of cancer.
