Sean, where are you?
Come back.
I'm not done lauging at you yet.

Maybe he is working on the post where he will present his alternative
to common descent and the evidence that he has claimed for it that is
just as good as the evidence that real science has for the alternative
that he doesn't like.
Well I gave him 2 opportunities to respond to this request for
proposals:
http://groups.google.com/group/talk.origins/msg/7563bdc1848942b6?hl=en
It's broad enough so that those who accept or deny common descent can
respond, but it's limited to human origins. But since that's the part
of biological history most important to fans of anti-evolution
activists, even those more concerned with the first flagellum than the
first human should be eager to get their proposal in.
Sean did not reply of course. Maybe he's writing his proposal now. And
Maybe Lenny Flank just became a billionaire. ;-)
It could be that he is working hard to produce
the science of intelligent design that he would have taught to school
kids, because no one else has done it for him.
In his last foray on this group he sort of admitted that he had been
running from his basic claims for years by claiming that it was all on
his web page. He just didn't bother to tell anyone what it was or
where to find it. For Sean that is a major boondoggle. It means that
he has more trouble lying to himself that he hasn't been running from
his claims for years. He spent years running and pretending, but when
you start making inane counter claims it gets harder to pretend.
Snipping out what he couldn't deal with and misdirecting the argument
must have begun to get old even for Sean.
Nah. He'll be back with more spin.
No alternative, no science worth jack, no argument.
Sean has been running from his claim about his alternative to common
descent for something like 8 years. How sad is that?
Not nearly as sad as the fact that most people don't rnow or care that
the onus is on him to provide positive evidence for his alternative,
and that the usual incredulity arguments are no substitute.
He might claim
that he doesn't need an alternative, but who would believe him?
Uh, at least 2/3 of adult Americans, as I suggest above.
He
made the claim that he had an alternative and the evidence to back it
up. All he as been doing since is running and pretending and blowing
as much smoke as he can. He is a prime example of exactly why the
creationist ID perps have to run the bait and switch on their own
creationist support base.
And unfortunately some parts of the bait and switch sell to more than
just the creationist support base.
They all know that they never had the goods
to deliver. There never was any science of intelligent design worth
teaching, and all the rubes get for buying into the lie is an
obfuscation switch scam designed to keep their kids as ignorant as
possible that can't even mention that ID or creationism ever existed.
What kind of person would do this junk? What kind of person would
support the perpetrators? Sean still supports the ID creationist
scam. He even made his claim that he had the ID science to teach to
school kids after it was evident that the ID perps had run the bait
and switch on the Ohio rubes back in 2003 and that the switch scam
didn't even mention that ID had ever existed.
Now, no one can deny that the bait and switch has been run because it
has been run on every single legislator and school board that has
popped up and wanted to teach the nonexistent science of intelligent
design since. The only ones that didn't take the switch or drop the
issue has been Dover and we all know what happened there. Seans whole
web page is based on the ID scam, and he knows that it was a scam or
he would have the science he claimed to have. Sean could demonstrate
reality to everyone by getting his local school board to teach the
science of intelligent design and we can all watch how fast the switch
comes in.
One of the saddest things is that these guys are still preying on the
clueless. Who would believe that there could be an elected official
ignorant and incompetent enough to still want to teach the science of
intelligent design in Florida? This boob was even in the legislature
last year when all those Florida county school boards came forward and
claimed that they wanted to teach the science of intelligent design.
The bait and switch was run on them and all they got was the switch
scam. It just didn't register on the guy that the same guys that ran
the teach ID scam were running the bait and switch. What idiot cannot
get a simple message that if they had any science worth teaching that
they would not be running the bogus bait and switch scam on their own
creationist support base?
Guys like Sean seem to be making a business out of fooling people as
clueless as that.
