Ye gods. The REASON the mouse is dead is traumatic injury related to
feline activity. The EVIDENCE the mouse is dead is a subtle stench wafting
from behind the dresser (along with rigor mortis, lack of pulse and
respiration, etc.). The REASON it snowed yesterday is atmospheric lift
causing condensation of water vapor in sub-freezing conditions; the
EVIDENCE it snowed yesterday is a foot of white stuff on the driveway. Do
you see the difference? Do you seriously suppose anyone is suggesting that
corals somehow prevented a global flood? That is what you imply with your
misuse of 'reason'. How do you possibly expect anyone to take you
seriously if you can't tell the difference between the reason something
happened and evidence that something happened?
