You seem unable to connect the dots between the two sourses of
information, or you are simply in denial.
But wait, we are not done connecting the dots yet.
"Connect the dots" is a children's activity that has significance
only if the dots are connected in numerical order. Simply
discovering a bunch of dots and drawing lines between them does
not result in enlightenment. Reading for understanding and then
drawing reasonable conclusions based on logic and reason and
understanding of the underlying facts does result in
enlightenment.
I agree you found two sources that had certain key words in
common. That does not mean that your connection between them has
any validity. I explained that already but you seem not to
comprehend my explanation probably for the same reason that you
seem not to comprehend the sources you cite: lack of
understanding of basic science. I could also mention other
reasons, including seeming lack of intelligence (aka 'incredible
stupidity') but that would be considered 'ad hominem' so I won't
mention it.
They had more then keywords in common. The corelation was clear.
Salinity has and will impact extinction because it impacts
climate.
You simply refuse to admit you are wrong.
You are also inable yo understand the metaphor "connect the dots".
Next time i will dumb it down even further for you.
Robert Carnegie did have a point in suggesting that you made some
effort to try to contribute to the science of the question about
the impact of ocean salinity on marine extinctions. So you deserve
a proper anser. I will explain it once more.
No thanks. I am right. You are wrong. Get over it.
Well, Richard, I am sure you appreciate the irony here, of someone so
concerned with false prophets being at the center of a phenomenon
having to do with hurling mollusk-immune-system-produced, calcium
carbonate deposits to the fore of rampaging suids.
Perhaps little adman should try to take nearby sections of that
particular ancient text a little more to heart.
I expected something of the kind.
In the past I did try reasoning and explaining with him. Then after
his repeated failure to respond to any substantive criticism, I
reverted to occasionally sniping at him whenever I thought it
amusing. Then I dropped him completely. It is only because of
Robert's comment that I started up once again. I don't blame Robert
-- I truly do believe we should give everybody, no matter how bad they
may have acted in the past, a chance to begin again. Occasionally it
is worthwhile. Most of the time you get more of the same. Still, the
cost/benefit analysis makes it a practice to continue, besides being
the "right thing" to do.
And none of this has anything to do with the fact that i am right and you are wrong.
So you (and only you) say. I say you are committing a logical
fallacy; confusing correlation with causation.
