I bet he did not believe in evolution

Perhaps not. I would not bet on it though. The schools attended by
Harrison are not religious at all. While quite spiritual himself, most
people who are that concerned about the nature of God don't concern
themselves with things like evolution. To the extent that it appeared
on his personal horizon at all, I would wager that he would be content
to take the scientific point of view at face value.

But of course, we don't measure a person's value based on their
acceptance or rejection of evolution- or it's not important to normal
people, I should say. Harrison brought joy to millions of people with
his music. He worked for peace during wartime. He broadened the
horizons of huge numbers of people, particularly in regards to the
culture of India. He was the first rock musician to organize a giant
benefit concert, and that probably saved the lives of thousands of
people in Bangladesh. I was thinking of Harrison when I dropped a food
bundle off at a church on Thanksgiving, to be honest. We can be
grateful he lived, and mourn his too-early death, and hope that we can
follow his example in our own small way.

I agree with this part

And all of that just makes your comment seem small and mean and
pointless.

This part is wrong. As usual.

Well, since it does make your remark seem small and mean and
pointless, your failure to refute him by other than "this part is
wrong" also shows you unable to take constructive criticism.
