I figured making and seconding the nomination produced extra work for
you so forgoing voting was just an attempt to make your life a little
easier!

Seriously, as a good citizen, I should vote as should we all. The
problem is that often there are several equally good productions
making a decision hard. A more personal (and selfish) problem is that
I only mark a selected few threads here to actually download and read
so I miss most of the nominations as they are produced in the proper
context to evaluate them.

But, now properly chided, I will properly do my homework, read them,
and be the decider.
